Well we went with Jon to Vegas as he attended a work conference, but me and the kids took off for Phoenix after one night in the hotel.
We had a good time swimming - Caleb was a little tentative about the pool, but he got into it after a few minutes.

Neeve on the other hand was very excited about getting in the water and was the first in. She had a great time.

After we met back up with Jon we took off to Capitol Reef National Park, a not so popular park, but really very beautiful.
Jon and the kids at Panoramic Point.

All of us at The Goosenecks - it was raining and very windy.

Neeve and Caleb at Grand Wash trailhead - we didn't actually hike the trail, but we had a good time yelling ECHO!

Mom and Neeve playing around.

Neeve absolutely loved playing in the sand.

Caleb and Mom "up high".

All of us at Hickman Natural Bridge. Jon and I like the photo even though the kids weren't really included. Maybe that is why.

If you take a closer look, you will see that Jon has hiked up above the arch and is sitting on the dome beyond it.

This is the more complete family shot at Hickman Bridge.

Caleb finally gave me a happy face after 5 previous photos.

This is glass mountain in the foreground (made of giant gypsum crystals for those of you who care), with Temple of the Sun, and Temple of the Moon in the distance.
We took a long dirt road to get to it and was a fun adventure. We also raced a thunder storm on our way back luckily we won, it didn't start raining till we were safely back on asphalt.

This was a lovely rainbow as we were leaving the park.
