Christmas time Photos

The week before Christmas we got 18-20 inches of snow - it was quite exciting. It is still here however, and I don't think I am excited about that.

Me and Caleb made a snowman...

while Neeve watched from the window - she is not so much the cold weather gal.

Christmas Eve at the Ryskamp's - the Nativity is always the hit of the evening.

In Arizona, we went to the Mesa temple lights. The kids had a ball running from one place to the next - as you might guess, Yelling all the way.

Caleb's Birthday Party

We had a fun family party at our house tonight, Caleb has been very excited about it all week.

The birthday cake was fun, but the most entertaining part was when Caleb was having trouble with some of the candles - Reed helped him to blow them out. Caleb was so furious, he didn't have words, he just glared at him until I got them relighted. But as you can see here, he didn't dwell on it for long.

November

Caleb wanted to take some photos, I took this one, but I thought it was fun.

When we got home from our trip to Arizona, we entered the Winter Wonderland. Everyone had a good time getting back into normal November weather.

Luckily we have 3 snow shovels. ;)

halloween

I know it is kind of late, but here are some of our Halloween photos. Caleb decided a while back that he wanted to be Spiderman, then Neeve wanted to be like Sister Bear in the Berenstein Bears books - a pink ballerina.

Neeve with her Pink Tutu.

Scary I know, but I did dress up - Jon also did, but his costume consisted of his Spiderman t-shirt.

Busy week

Here is a Self Portrait of Caleb.

I let the kids have a bubble bath in my tub - they loved it till Neeve slipped and bumped her head and Caleb got taken out for throwing water out of the tub.

We had a great time bouldering last Saturday, we went with Josh and Shelly and their two kids - we all had a great time.

Neeve took a turn with the camera and got some great shots of her dad. Always interesting to get a little different perspective on life.

We squeezed through this little crack to get to our last problem.

This was likely the craziest peach canning day. Caleb and Neeve decided they wanted to help, so Caleb found one of his plastic knives and started slicing peaches - they did a great job, I was really surprised at how much they helped! Sorry about the no clothes - this was the second batch of jars.

You should know something about Neeve, she is a collector, or hoarder, she will carry all this from one location to the next and just sit with all her stuff.

Goings on from the Kitchen Window

This is what we have been watching lately. They are putting in a new house next door, something exciting every day.

Hawaii

Here are some of the fun things we did on our trip to Hawaii with some of Jon's coworkers. We all had a great time.
